The new Performance Radiator brand heat exchanger you are installing may be different slightly different than the one you are removing from your vehicle. This sheet will identify those differences, but rest assured that these changes are intentional and do not hinder the performance or serviceability of the radiator or vehicle.

The drain plug has been removed from this radiator. To drain the coolant, use a coolant recovery machine that is capable of siphoning coolant from the cooling system. If a coolant recovery machine is not available, the coolant can be drained by removing the lower coolant hose.

Attention: Do not attempt to modify the radiator to accommodate a drain. Damage to the radiator may occur or debris from drilling the plastic tank could enter the cooling system and cause damage.

CAUTION: The cooling system should only be serviced once the engine is completely cooled. Servicing the cooling system while still hot could result in personal injury from burns caused by coming in contact with hot coolant.
